A bunch of us went to see 'On Any Sunday' at small independent cinema in Soho in 1974 and this film is was what got me into the dirtbike and motocross scene in the mid-70's. Most bikers from that era will probably know about this film or would have seen it, but if not....

Here's the trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSLRlPiiiQE

But if you currently have more time on your hands here's the full film, it's a great film of its time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QiRD2s3VcHQ

I got a special edition "box set" a couple years ago which has 3 x DVD's, only watched the main film so far.

A mate of mine has an ex Mert Lawwill (featured in the film) Harley XR750. It still gets out on a dirt track now and again, mixing it with modern bikes, I've been along and helped (mainly to start it) a couple of times. And no, he won't sell it me, or not the last time I asked, anyway.

Like with Le Mans, another favourite film of mine that helped influence me to become a petrol head back in the day, Steve McQueen's production company was literally inventing new ways of filming motorsport as they went along.
