We have a Brutale 910R since 2006. Great steering bike, suspension hard as a rock, sounds like a jet fighter with the factory non-cat exhaust. Can't sell it, will break my heart because it looks right from every angle. I rode the later 1090 Brutale some years ago, much more sophisticated and softer suspension, Also "a bit" faster but I stick with the 910R. Next to it, also since 2006, a Moto Morini Corsaro 1200. Compared to the 910R a hooligan, powerwheelies and instant torque, but suspension needs a bit of help. I love the way you sit in it.

Bit of a Ducatisti here.I have three. An 888 SP5 , a Monster 1200r and a 2012 Multistrada. You can’t go wrong with the Multi as an all rounder.Goes really well and handles very well.Ive done most of my European tours on it and it’s never missed a beat.it gets an annual service up to 15k which is a valve service at around £350 ish.Loads of really good specialists around .I use Cornerspeed near Mansfield ,absolutely first class. The Multi got an upgrade in 2015 to the DVT model then again recently to the 1260.Apparently the 1260 is quite a jump up the DVT not so much.
Anything further happy to help

Love it!

I particularly like the option of having a top box mounted on the tank........

Or even something tad more left field, the KTM 690 Duke! Nearly an eyetie bike, goes round corners on rails, stops, good on juice, just over 3 secs 0-60, 130plus top whack, and most importantly it’s DIFFERENT!! :D

Akra Evolution headers would set that off nicely.

Not mine TBH Steve, I detailed it for a mate (The 'Black Chrome' paint was Stunning). He's sold it now and got the later Carbon Version with the 'wings' instead of mirrors and a rear view camera. He offered me the keys but I politely declined, I'm far to old, fat and slow.
