Does anyone know what this is ? It’s allegedly a small manufacturer that got bought out by Moto Martin. Who used the frame design for their own large cylinder models ?
It is a 1979 motorcycle.

What’s it worth ?

I'd say that's definitely a Martin frame, but the chassis number should confirm that one way or tuther.

Georges started the company in 1970 with a frame resembling an Egli, but towards the late 70s made frames of that design.

The lower rear engine mounts give it away.

What are the numbers stamped on the headstock? I assume the ones in the photo above tally with what's on the frame plate, but are there any on the left side of the headstock?

There does not appear to be any numbers on the head stock, but I will have another look. The number on the plate is the frame number on the reg document.

I was looking on the left hand side of head stock for frame number, saw the plate and did nt take in the numbers on frame

Thank you that has some good information. It is a great help.
But not what I was told, as the link lists frame kits up to 1985 approx.
So not a company bought out by Moto Martin, but a competitor in Germany.

I'm wondering if AMC bought frames from Moto Martin but then sold complete bikes as AMC? The German TUV rules have always been strict, so to build a special at that time may have not been possible, or viable at least?

It is intriguing.

The bike belongs to an old mate who took it as a part exchange / trade in just before christmas. I will pop over and check the head stock again. It maybe up for sale, as he is never keeps anything for very long. I would be interested in buying it - but do not know what it is worth and could be out of my price range. Personally I think it belongs in a museum.

The PVM wheels are certainly more recent than '79. It'd be interesting if you can find out more about it.
