Hi all
Can anyone tell me if the Z250 UK owners Facebook group has come to an end or is it still going. I am a member but recently I have not been able to find the group. I'm trying to find replacement carb membranes for my 1981 Z250 A3 Twin, I think the OEM is = 16126-1042. Does anyone know if these have a 71mm diameter and I reckon they are circular (don't plan on opening up the top lids as I'm really just planning for the future) Thanks for any help offered.

The FB group is active and usually has a post every day or so.
Not sure if this link will work, but....

Hi Kwackman

Thanks for your help, when I select the link you gave me, I get the same reply as I got when I looked for this recently, which is

This content isn't available at the moment
When this happens, it's usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people or changed who can see it, or it's been deleted.

https://www.partzilla.com/product/kawasaki/16126-1042

Seems it’s really only on the 250s and 400s

Zed power list it as available but it’s horrendously dear as it would seem it’s all part of the carb slide. It’s even more expensive from CMSNL

I’ll check later, it might be a private group and you need to join the group to see their posts?

EDIT to add...
According to their page, it IS a public group and anyone can see posts in it.
So, I don't know why you can't see anything.
Hope you can find a way to, I've found it useful on a couple of times.

Do NRP not do them? Mate needed some for an obscure Hodna 250/4 jap import. They too were part of the slide and couldn't find em anywhere as seperate parts only as complete slide and diaphragm direct from Hodna at close to the national debt.
Took NRP 3 or 4 months but came up trumps for him.

NRP do seem to list them for the 250 A1-A4. I’m not sure that part number listed 16126-1042 is the right one it’s hard to find parts diagrams for the 250 twin and Partzilla doesn’t list it for the A.

Definitely worth talking to Andy at NRP.

There's a downloadable parts list here, but only seems to cover the A1, not the A3
http://www.z250.co.uk/z250a.html

The membrane/piston assembly for the A1/2 is 16059-005, which Cradley say is replaced with 16126-1042 -£178!
But for the A3 the part number is listed as 43028-1023, only £133.81 from Cradley!! Bargain!

I scanned in the parts book pages for the Z250A3, if anyone wants a folder of PDF files, PM me and I'll stick them on a file sharing website.

Chris and Warren suggested NRP - They were REALLY helpful when I was struggling to get bits for Z400J carbs. :up

Hi Cosmic, I am a moderator on the z250 owners group, I will ask Roland the main man why your not getting on.
The diaphragms I think are available from nrp, also a German site do them as replacements, genuine ones are horrendous price.

Had a word with Roland, no problems with the site, if you pm me your name I can ask him to check. , you don't have a filter of sorts?

I import Keyster carb kits and spares every few weeks or so.
They do a replacement diaphragm for the 16126-1042 part.
It's not an item I stock but could add them to my next order if it helps you.
