I had a blue one. They had a couch for a seat. :D It is scary to think that it must have been about 35 years ago!

That is lovely. I even like the mis-matched bodywork (Gs and GSX) as that is what we did back in the day. I started my riding days on a GS750 which over time had GS850 bodywork fitted before swapping over to GSX1100ET bodywork. The tank even had a Harris aircraft filler which you never see these days. :D You have great taste in bikes.

yeah I like the ET but like every bike ive had I have to modify it in some way !!!!! I like the GS1000 tail unit and side panels on it, and also the round headlight and Bandit clocks.
this was the first one I did.

The red one ticks a lot of boxes for me. When I fiited GSX (with the Harris aircraft filler) it was the exact same colour/std decals as your old bike. It seems like a hundred years ago now, but I would enjoy owning the same bike again now.

the old GSX1100's are a good tough bike with a claimed 110bhp, bit on the heavy side !!! but with a few modern-ish mods they go well. love riding mine, its so comfy :)
