2 Stroke ! RD 250
A few pics of my current resto , had one when I was 17 but in Silver brand new from Bill Roberton Motorcycles in Falkirk .
Restored this to relive those happy days , first real motorcycle after owning an SS50 .
Wife bought me a very tired 16 previous owners non runner for my 50th birthday and I have spent the last 13 years getting parts restored or bought OEM . Started putting it together over a year ago , now finally finished . Made up a number plate logo as a nod to my original one .

400/4's, Ducatis, Ford Mexicos and RD's are all better in Yellow!

Excellent resto. You cant beat 70's Yamaha colours. My mates had these and were amazed by the smoothness of my KH250 in comparison although it was slower.

Stunning bike !
Congratulations with the restoration!

When the Fizzies and SS's were PX'd this was the 250 of choice for most round our way back then...

Thanks folks for all the replies, very much appreciated
Yeah one cylinder short ( that made me chuckle ) .
Just in the process of sorting her out to get her running properly and then a few runs out this year I hope .
As we all know the yellow ones ARE faster
