I’ve just got a Z1R it’s got the 13lt tank
18lt tank not available anymore ? Does anyone know what the carbs are ie 26 or 28 thanks

Pretty sure they are 28mm and could also be 29mm smooth bore

Stock Z1R carbs are VM28SS with single central fuel feed and the idle screw knob located between float bowls 2 and 3 ..
No stock factory machine was ever fitted with vm29mm smoothbores.
Smoothbores are solely aftermarket items.

The Z1r had 28mm Mikunis with an ID of:1040A
