Last ride on my Z too

#1 PostAuthor: malmojoe » Fri Jul 08, 2011 8:48 pm

Out in the sunshine last weekend, I caned my bike from Bournemouth towards Bristol via Shaftesbury. The scenery was truly stuning and my bike was flying - until it began to go a little slower - then the noise started and i pulled over. It sounded like a tractor so I called the breakdown.
Well, it's fucked, what a t**t I am, I didn't check the oil and now my bike is knackered.
I had been planing to start the restoration in the winter (it's a73) but now facing a total engine strip and rebuild, I may as well statr the resto now, so no more Z this summer for me.

fuck fuck fuck fuck fuk

That's a real bummer,
Just promise yourself that it will arise in better shape all round after the restoration - we know you can do it!!
Fingers crossed it's not too bad when stripped down. Loads of advice on here to help once you found the broken bit.
Cheers from Mark
