Hit a deer! Zed dead.

#1 PostAuthor: brian 1100 » Sun Jul 31, 2011 7:19 pm

Went out for a long ride, had ridden about 180 miles then 15 mins from home a deer ran out of a hedge right in front of me. Didn't even have time to brake. I was supposed to be taking it to Germany next week!

Can't tell if frame is bent. Forks must be. Main engine casings could be wrecked. Tank, mudguard, fairing smashed to mention a few bits.

Venison anyone?

Kevlar jeans saved my legs but as you csn see my nut bag split open.

Not gone to hospital but may have to tomorrow. Left foot and left wrist/thumb aren't in a good way.

Collisions with deer happen a lot round here. Could have been much worse for you.

Glad you are not too bad at least and as Al said I`m sure we`ll rally round to help if we can.
