#1 PostAuthor: Zed man » Wed Jun 27, 2012 5:18 pm

I took the old girl for her m.o.t today, and she pass no problem, and No advisory. I have a few new bit's to put on, ( a new seat cover, small handel bar chrome clock, new front indicators, and a black battery box) and a big clean up... Ace Cafe here we come.... The new Mot's are, Printed on just A 4 plain paper now... Is it cut backs? Came home to, 3 cards total £95.00 Must be my birthday or something?? The day just get's better... :D :D :D

Does it make you twitch and panic when the mechanic throws his oily leg over, throws the fag to the side and proceed to play with it? Pride & Joy!

Funny you should ask that! I phoned up the m.o.t station, and booked it in.
When i get there, he comes out with his clip board, takes the frame number,
then he go's into the office to log it on. Then (this is the funny bit) Could YOU, bring it in? Could you put it on the main stand? Could you put the light on/indicators/horn/main beam/brake light/Just a quick check on the filler cap, if you could just open it up? OK. then, Ok your done!

1 concern, was the chain. He said that there the old type chain (wtf does that mean? What is the right chain for my zed A4. as i don't have a scooby do, on chains.

Back to the m.o.t. Then he said... Could you put it outside, and i'll check the exhaust (what's he looking for? It's new) started it up, and then he said OK, ALL DONE!!! :D :D :D So he does not (throws his oily leg over, throws the fag to the side) What am i paying for? i could have saved us both time and money, if he just put on a brew, and had a chat for 30mins, and just print off the m.o.t.? Joking aside, i think it's good to get you bike checked over every year, just to make sure, nothing going to fall off. Nice guy, always go time to talk..
:D :D :D Just a few toys to put on the bike today. (sky remote not included)
