No mate,it's the original 1974 starter motor, refurbed in 1993 ! Does a great job of turning her over. No kickstart ever needed, engine always starts easily. By the way,no valve guide wear in 11000 miles ( in 11 years ) not too shabby for a 1327. Engine was PROPERLY built in full by a certain Mr.Ray Debben who you will know. Lets be fair,if your going to spend big money on your engine you only want to spend it once. I cant recommend Ray highly enough, knows every combination for these engines and knows how to get them to really work.
The bigger the motor, the more expensive the bang !!!
