#1 PostAuthor: RGH » Sat Aug 03, 2013 2:48 pm

Yes the Tom Cruise Gee Pee Zee 900 is a worthy replacement for the King title, but I think the old Zed's still have it.

Lovely day in OZ for a cruise with 75z

Nice one mate!
Is that some form of extra stand where a right exit
pipe would be, or just where a right exit pipe
used to be connected to?

Chrome centre stand, can just be seen on LHS below black muffler bracket. The bikes a bitsa, matching numbers Z1B, raked, 16" rear, braced, shortened stands etc.. all the 70's mods.

@RGH - yeah thought it was a centre stand,
bitza scmitza - I don't give a hoot, I like
modified more than standard, but at the same
time I love the history of the Z series, and have
inadvertently become a bit of an anorak lol

When I sell my Hardly-Dangerous, I'll have the
funds for my Bitza project, a kz1000 LTD base,
but rebuilt to look like a candy blue Z1-B, with
a crapshaft jackshaft to accomadate a 240mm
tyre. Nice 'n' radical crap that ain't been done
in the UK yet on an old road legal Zed. (pretty
sure there's not one in the UK yet anyway).

Just about sums it up I feel :D Great pics thanks - but the only thing an old Z has in its favour against a GPZ 900R is its originality....... time moves on. Nice A3.

At this precise moment - yes...... but I must admit to finding more relevant threads on the 900R & Kettle forums that I also frequent, although there is occasionally an interesting topic on here :)

I am pretty sure It was a 750 in the movie, Tom was not old enough to ride a 900.

Why not award equal marks to my 900R for hauling both of our fat arses to the far side of Manchester.......

....to collect your latest project - which then survived the maiden voyage home, in at the deep end - along the M62
