First ride out on the Z900

First ride out on the Z900 this afternoon after all the rain this week, but what's a week of rain after I've waited 40 years!
Did 65 miles to get to know the bike and it rode brilliantly, better than me in fact - stopped at Holybourne, Hants for some photos where Bev and I lived for a couple of years after we got married in 81.

The weather looks good this week too.
Cheers
Andrew

Great stuff - I think Phil would've been well chuffed with your attitude towards his Zed.

Thanks all, it was a great ride out and yes, the first of many - the next planned ride is tomorrow night at the Pinewood Cafe Bike Night.
Riding the Z900 took me straight back to the 70s and must admit I was riding along with Lynyrd Skynyrd's Free Bird bouncing around inside my helmet. Talking of which, I guess could have worn my old AGV Ago which is still hanging up in my garage for that authentic 70s period feel, but thought better of it as I prize me old noggin........but maybe something to think about.

Peter, you made the right decision and rest assured Phil's Z900 in safe hands and will be used as intended.
Cheers

Looks lovely both bike & village.
I took mine out on an impromptu trip to 'Loomies cafe' yesterday and although she is not running brilliantly, I reckon I could make the trip to Pinewood café on Tuesday evening if you fancy some company?

Thanks Steve,
Yes, if you fancy a ride out tonight - how about if we meet up at Fleet Station at say 7pm?
Cheers

Thanks Garry,
They have Bell Bullitts at Motolegends near me, I'm over there tomorrow so will have a look, plus I get a 10% AF discount..........but may have to make do with the Arai for the time being which I bought for the FireBlade (now gone) as SHMBO has an eye on my budget.

A beautiful evening but i'm working tonight unfortunately, Andrew. However, tomorrow is free for the Pinewood Cafe and the weather is still looking good.
