I'm in the middle of a job in Dublin which has turned into the job from hell. So, knowing I'd need to go back this week (flight booked for tomorrow) I decided to duck under the radar today, do the work bits I needed to this morning and escape out at around lunchtime. I didn't have masses of time as I had to collect a small boy from school, but it at least gave me the chance to burn a lot of super-unleaded and a little oil... :wink:

I stopped off for a quick mug of tea, and as I was about to leave the old Zed made a new(er) friend... :)

It was certainly a cracking night for it last night, let's hope the weather stays like this for the Yorkshire Rally! :D
The old bus is properly flying at the moment, though still knocking from the cam bearings when it's warm and has sprung another leak from one of the seals behind the sprocket cover. To be fair, I've had the seals and gasket for at least a year but didn't bother changing them as I was going to rebuild the motor last winter. Damn you time thief! :wink:

I just need to sort the fork springs now, though they feel reasonable with 10psi in them but they're of course not right.

My own personal old meets new. Both shaft drive tourers separated by nearly 30 years.

Coose where does youre crankcase breather vent to?
One of the advantages of an airbox is it provides a constant negative pressure at the CC breather exit.
Great to hear its flying though.

Straight out of the rear right corner of the bike Al, between the reg. plate and the number board.
I bought an eSkip catch tank to go in between but it weighs a ton and won't fit in the space I'd like it to go.
I'll come up with something once I get around to it.... :wink:

Its definitely breathing too, not gummed up with emulsion?

No emulsion Al, I only fitted it tuther week.
The seals behind the sprocket cover have been there since I've had the bike so I've been expecting it really... :wink:
But, I will double-check to make sure that the breather isn't nipped anywhere.
