Good turnout at Pinewood tonight.

2 A4's (me and Andrew-_s) one Z1B (SVENLEATHER) and a Z1000(Gonzo) representing Z1OC.

A few more and we could have a z1 area.

Good to meet Steve (Wheely), Sven and others last night at Pinewood where there was a good turnout of bikes.

AND, it also goes to prove what a small world this is as Steve (Gonzo) and I looked familiar to each other when we took our helmets off after meeting up for the ride to Pinewood - then the penny dropped that I was Steve’s Karate Instructor back in the early 80s when he had hair and drove a lovely Ford Consul Capri and when my hair was dark, I had a porn star tache and drove a TR6………and still do.

And here's one of me and Steve (Gonzo) from last night - I'm pretty sure I've got one of me with Steve when he won a trophy for Karate fighting, so will try and find it..................

Any of the SE Division at the Oakdene Bike Night last night? Saw a tidy A4 parked up on the London side layby. No pics as I was on the cafe side on my z thou.

Well, Bev wasn't too dissimilar to the lovely Linda Lusardi in the 80s, but that is Linda my favourite Page 3 girl who I met at a trade fair in about 1985 and she agreed to pose with my TR6 (and me). Linda actually knew it was a TR6 and we chatted about it's restoration, so she went up even further in my estimation if that was possible. But she then pestered me for weeks with phone calls and hanging around outside my house..............and then I woke up.

Yep, that's the one I've got somewhere Steve (could you email it to me please) when I find my old karate photos there will be others of us looking equally young (you more so!), so will keep looking.

I'm 28 in that photo the same age as my eldest!

I also found possibly the only photo of my Consul Capri too...

Anyone heading to Pinewood tomorrow evening? Weather forecast looks OK.

Can't make tomorrow unfortunately, but should be ok for next week.
