Not a great iconic car in the Triumph line-up by any stretch of the imagination, but they they do have a loyal following. Not really my cuppa tea (I'll stick to my TRs), but maybe you'de be surprised what a low mileage unrestored Toledo 'survivor' car is worth.
PS - here's an example, and this one has had a respray:

Talk about sidetracked! Came on here to read about everyone's winter Z projects and end up reading about my other pet subject-old cars!for my sixpence worth,no the toledo may not be the most desireable Triumph but at the time they had a good range of cars that wre all recognisable as Triumph and you could have traded your modest Toledo up for an early 2.5 P.I.saloon-excellent car and quick in it's day-would have given the Brooklands a run for it's money round town!Anyway, that's all in the past,I now have a more modern car;1985 Range Roverwith a Mazda diesel lump.30 mpg,no computers,no electronics and no oil leaks! Happy New Year and keep up the good work on ALL of the old vehicles, and don't forget to change the tax class to "historic" when they hit 40 years old as DVLA won#t do it for you!

On the subject of old cars here is mine. An annoying water leak stops me using it as much as I would like but it still brings a smile when you floor the accelerator
