Weather perfect, so took a run up to LHR and then the lesser known White Waltham international airport. Oh yea then onto a pub.

i know white waltham aerodrome, i used be a sales service rep for safety kleen out of heston, n frequently visited the hangars unaccompanied, loads of radial engined bygone era planes in there.i also got nipped for doin 87mph in my 1970 vw bus, on the a308 near there, heading to Henley..bmw bike cop couldn't believe it n owned a beetle himself, i gave him my number n serviced his bug for years afterwards..i should have had a ticket at the VERY least. i got off scot free..when did go international?? m

Blimey, I remember the day the first jumbo, belonging to BOAC, flew into Manchester airport in 1970 :shock:
Times were different then, obviously before I got my Z900, but only six years before & I still have it !!

Thought it was time to change the lid, could not believe I brought the Simpson in 94
