Not a bike trip, but just had a fantastic weekend with my mate Chris, who has a bike collection to die for and who is a big classic fan.
After a horrible journey in rain on Friday, we met at Hinckley for the Triumph factory tour, 2 hours, so forward thinking, give it a try.
We were at Stafford at 9 am on Saturday, it was getting busy then and so many cars getting bogged down, so we went inside and by 3pm, it was drying off, nice stand guys.
Today we went to Bill Lomas motorcycles in Clay Cross, what a cool place lovely cafe, great museum and such nice people, then onto Matlock Bath.
As a 5 time visitor to the Clay Cross Kawasaki open day of the 90s, it was so nice to go back to the area on a beautiful day, and reminded me of Jack " London Calling " who I gave my event T Shirts to, RIP.
Hope everyone enjoyed the show
