The second photo is Whittington castle, near Oswestry. Sorry, the first photo is Hanmer mere which is actually in Wales, I live 3 miles from Whitchurch, Shropshire but our house is in Wales….so I really should have titled the post as Shropshire and Wales border hopping

I did guess Whittington castle. My mate lives in Whittington often take a run out there.

It’s a lovely place and one of my favourite photo stops, I take it you’re local to the area? There’s not many fellow members that I know of in the area apart from Will, the draw through turbo guru.
