Nearly sold this a couple of months back but after taking it for an Mot I thought it was a bit fluffy and shared that with the prospective buyer and I said that I would get the garage to investigate. For some reason they decided not to proceed, no problem to me just being honest. Jump forward, issue was with stale fuel one refresh and running like a clock unfortunately this coincided with carp tunnel surgery and had to wait six weeks to pick back up
Tank topped up and a nice little 30 mile took the long way home.

Re: Gpz11 back out
A friend of mine was so close to buying this but being it was so far away from his location he decided to go for one closer to home. he bought the bike without seeing it in the flesh & although it looked ok in the various photo's & was about a grand under priced it turned out to be a nightmare. on my advise it has been completely striped & i have sourced many of the parts that where wrong on the machine & come this time next year he should have the bike he longed for & the condition beyond his expectations
Re: Gpz11 back out
Sorry to hear that. Yes i remember him when i said it was a bit fluffy he changed his mind, i was taking it for an mot anyway as i wanted to make sure it was 100% passed with flying colours and runs great. The bike he bought had passed through my hands (he contacted me) i had 3 and moved them on for various reasons. I think that was the silver one he bought, saying that I had sold that one for less than i paid for it but i needed the space

Re: Gpz11 back out
You have a cracking bike there.
It seems like a year or two or three back, but I often would see a red Gpz11 going through Seaton Sluice every once in a while. Sometimes it was heading towards Whitley Bay and sometimes towards Blyth. Was this you?
One day one of my friends turned up at mine and the first thing he said was, "I have just seen a Gpz1100 along the coast road". So the bike catches the right peoples attention. My friend by the way has a z650 with a Gpz1100 B1 engine. So he knows a nice bike when he see's one!

If you see somebody waving like a loony, it will be me.
