Re: Shocks
Hmm... I have a mint pair of original R+R Street Strokers. They're on ebay at the moment but I'd do you a special deal.
I'll stick them on the For Sale section here too.

Re: Shocks
Thanks for the offer Will, but I'm not sure they will be much of an improvement over the aftermarket shocks that are on it now. I'm looking to make the bike stop and handle well (or as well as can be expected from a 78 Z1R!). I've sorted the front end with stronger springs and a Gold Valve kit and improved the brakes no end with AP Calipers all around and a GSXR1000 front master cylinder and have fitted a period Moto Martin swing arm, so the last update needed is some good quality shocks - which I'm happy to spend a few quid on.
I'm still debating whether to go for lighter wheels too, I particularly like black Astralites but they seem to be rarer than Pterodactyl teeth these days and won't do a Kosman frame kit until I've finally made up my mind to turbo it or not.
Cheers
Fred

Yes please
Either PM me the photos or to richardclarke5@gmail.com please... with a price and description. If they aren't purpose built for a Z1000 / Z1R then can you tell me what they are off?
Cheers

Guys
All sorted now thanks to Jules. The shed will soon be sporting a nice shiny set of Ohlins KA 147's. Lubbly jubbly.
