I know it's probably a long shot but does anyone have a good condition Z1000R or Z1100R for sale, I need something newer than what I already have to ride

This is a serious wanted ad, so, if anyone is considering parting with one then give me a shout.

I'm way too old to be on FB Garry but thanks for the heads up, and I doubt any of them will be cheap, it's all relative I guess, I will pay good money for a good bike

The one on eBay is a slightly rough but all the important stuff is there and it seems well documented ...

John Holden ( Taffy ) has the best 1100R I have seen and is considering selling it . It was featured in Classic Bike August 2017 and still looks just as good . I have told him it is worth £10,000 but he may be open to a bit of haggling . If you are interested let me know and I will pass on your details .

No one wanted that one, reserve not met at £3,900 (I didn't bid, I've been down the resto route a few times, it's expensive and more to the point, time consuming), I've been offered a few now, it was a good move to post on here, each one has it's merits but I'm going to look at one asap, it sure sounds like what I've been after.
