Previously run with 160 mains as per an old EBC and so filers manual recomdations, pulled well from 5000 to 10000 but woolly below since fitting Dynojet kit ith drilled slide and lighter springs plus 160dynojet mains absolutely perfect. Have tried a clean set of smooth ores but not worth expense compared to my carbs on road and also better mannered. Hope this helps.
Hi,
Any chance you could clarify your info a little? I'm looking to run the exact same setup, gpz1100b2 with Z1100A shaft carbs and pod filters, though I'm aware I might enter a world of pain trying to run pods. Two questions:
1- exactly what dynojet kit did you run? Dynojet list kits for kz1100 spectre, kz1000j, kz1000 ltd, but not Z1100A. According to the instructions that you can find on their website they're all subtly different kits. I guess 1100 spectre is the closest. Is that what you're using?
2 - lighter springs. Don't seem to be in the kit instructions for any of those 3 possible kits that mentions modified springs. Is that something that you came up with yourself or is there some data somewhere?
Many thanks
Olly

Got Dynojet kit off eBay from Ireland, set of Z1100R carbs on eBay at moment for £250 or offers. Z1100A1 is correct and Suzuki Gs1000 carbs slide carbs both fit but not sure if cv type fit but are same Spain's on GS head. Hope this helps
