Parts manual Z1000J

#1 PostAuthor: redzee » Fri May 05, 2023 5:50 pm

Hi All,

Wanted, to suit 1983 Z1000J3, parts manual with part numbers needed (electronic format). Searched site but only service manual available.
1 have 2 x stock exhaust systems that are mixed and matched. Would like know silencer KZ....etc part numbers to assemble one good system for chroming. Does anyone know them?. Tried CMSNL, only 1000R, different pipes (black chrome).
Parts manual will also be used to search for other used OEM parts to suit too.
Cheers.
Eight valve grunt.

They almalgamated the USA J's into the KZ1000 section so still there just a bit more difficult to see.

Half way down this page
https://www.cmsnl.com/kawasaki-kz1000_model12477/

Exhausts etc is first menu.

They still have one RH silencer if you get a wiggle on and only 800 funny money's

Thanks for the pointers Fellas,

Warren, does the Kawasaki site show actual Kawasaki part numbers? It's not running yet, but the CMSNL site seems to use it's own system of identification.
My silencers have KZ1000............ numbers stamped on them and I want to be sure the pipes are actually off my model before I go to the trouble of chroming them.
Al, one for you, are J indicators same length/size front and rear do you know?
Cheers.

Yes it does. Example below. I've got copies on my phone of most of the J2 parts list. If you send me your email I'll ping over.
