Carb Ballancing tool needed

Hi there anyone got a decent carb balancing tool I can borrow will pay for all postage. Looked at ones on eBay and not sure how accurate they are.
Are these any good

The cheap "Dial" type are not much use and not very accurate.
By far the best are Morgan Carbtune (stick type).
Easy to use and very accurate.
Not a lot of money and you only buy them once but use them forever so value for money.

Plus one for Morgan Carbtune , not expensive and good quality tool , agree with previous comment . I would buy it , you don’t just synch carbs once and forget about them , but not a job that’s done on a regular basis , so takes a long time for payback on a piece of kit like that .
Getting a loan of tools like this unlikely, I learned never loan out tools ….you never get em back …my experience.

The old Mercury ones were by far the best and most accurate.
The metal bar Morgan carb tunes are only as good as whoever buys them sets them up. The restictors come as one piece which has to be cut to four equal lengths and assembled into the vacuum hoses. Get this wrong and they'll all read different values for the same vacuum. Once assembled you'll need to mess around getting all four bars reading the same for the same cylinder. Test your test equipment.
Once you've done that you'll need to keep the bars and tubes meticulously clean to avoid the bars sticking or giving false readings.
If your only balancing carbs once every 2 or 3 years for one bike they'll suffice but if you want accurate results frequently quality dial guages are far better.

Agree with that Warren.

I always test each cylinder with each gauge before any snychronisation procedure to prove accuracy.
It makes the job longer but is the only way to be 100% sure of accuracy.
I have never had an issue with the inline restrictors with Morgans once fitted correctly, but have had problems with dial type gauges jumping all over even when using the dampers correctly.......and that includes Factory Hodna and Kawasaki gauges.
I was actually told by BMW UK on a training course many years ago that the Morgans were the most accurate, hence using them myself.

Couldn't agree more, bike runs great after balancing , not a major problem with them.
I dunno man ...I just got here myself
