Front Lester
I know I've posted this before but I got a little distracted.
I have a front Lester for a Z1a etc, 6 disc mounting holes.
I have an a4 so looking to swop if anyone wants this one? Or if anyone has a a4 one for sale? Preferably with the spokes not all black, you know what I mean.
Pic of my rear wheel shown for reference.
I'm down In Sussex, can post.

Re: Front Lester
I have a 4 hole z900/1000 been sitting on it for a while now, its paired with a 16" drum for a 900Ltd. I would be willing to do a straight swap my 2 for you one but.. im in Ireland. Put a pin in it and if you dont get a better offer let me know.
edit. they would have to be media blasted and repainted, in the repainting you can re establish the unpainted section on the spoke.

That and the rest mate, like a grand and a half or about 750 a wheel, I’m actually in Japan right now, trying to make some friends to help me in the future with shipping parts over. Thing is though Japanese will pay that money Americans just ask for it based on what Japanese are asking but there’s a reality of what people in America in the UK would be willing to spend on a set of Wheels. I Went in a different direction. I’m keeping my Z1 Leicester’s on the shelf just a little longer, still don’t know if I’ll use them or sell them.

Out of curiosity, how much are you willing to shell out for a 4 hole 19” lester? There is one here in Japan but I’ll need to buy it, ship it to Ireland and then restore it and ship it to you.

Re: Front Lester
Not a fortune so probably not worth it.
I have a good Z1 one, new discs and speedo drive so I could do some jiggery pokery and fit that one.

Personally, I think you’re right. As soon as you step out of the stock bracket as long as it looks good and works well what you got. Sounds like you got the makings of a fairly decent twin disc setup. Do you have a right hand side caliper?

As for the diamond cutting aspect of it, block of wood start off with 180 grit sandpaper I just worked the way down to about 1000 to get a decent polish on the aluminium. Wouldn’t even take that long to do.
