Been looking on Ebay but they all seem to be for 70,s models?Any one got one they'd be willing to part with?

Best getting the genuine Kawasaki workshop manual.
I think they are still available from Z-POWER,TEL 01942 262864 and speak to Big Phil.
They turn up for sale on ebay quite often.
Look out for KZ1000/KZ1100 workshop manual as it covers J1-J3 and the GPz1100 B1/B2 models.
If you need to borrow one until you get one of your own,just let me know and you can borrow mine.

I was given a manual on CD recently when I bought a Z1000J. Not looked at it yet, but if it's any good I'll gladly send you a copy.

I've just checked this out... It is a copy (PDF) of the genuine KZ1000/KZ1100 workshop manual. PM me if you want a copy.
