Highlander, welcome aboard Sir.
I usually do a week long tour around the Highlands every few years. Last time I did over 2000 miles round trip from Yorkshire. Only rained for one day so we were very lucky. I love the Highlands, the roads, the views and the people.

Thanks Ultim8pc September & October appear to be our driest months these days .
Now that the north 500 is getting more popular we are getting folk coming from all over. It’s great to meet them and swap stories over a burger and cup of tea.
Met three chaps on Z900`s from the west country last year, they were heading for John O`Groats, it was geat to see and hear the three Zeds take ogg set against the back drop of the cromarty firth with the soud echoed against the hill behing the road.
