Taffus, did you decide on a model?
When I was looking for 1 last year, it seamed a minefield. I went on the zrx forums to see/glean some information.
I personally don't like the look of the 1200s (big fairing), so I narrowed it down to the 1200r or the 1100, which I think as the better looking engine by far. The gold casings didn't really do it for me. The zrx owners generally seam to recommend the 1200 engine.
Trying to find an unmolested, low miles 1100 is difficult. Plenty of the 1200 but prices seamed to be all over.
cheers freddy

Finding the same at the moment, it looks like a 1200 with the small bikini fairing. In a bit of a pickle as the bike I use in Ireland is kaput and I'm off with the southern Z boys to Ypres on Thursday ( at least the the a4 is running , touch wood). I have to get my bike repaired and back to UK so I can sell it or use it to get to the airport (though I am sick of it's unreliability) I don't want to cut the trip short but may have to.
I am kind of forced into this at the mo but at least I'll get something I want out of it. I just need to remember I am after a work horse not a show pony.......
