Hi Guys,
I am in need of a complete tail light assembly for a 1976 Z650 B1. I need the tail light, the license plate and tail light holder bracket and also the fixings and dampers to mount to the frame and the rear mudguard.

If you have just some of the parts that will probably work as I am unlikely to get everything in one go.

it's just the light unit and lens i have..i had a bracket too but another member needed one. can send a pic tomorrow via email.

Hi Matt, 99% sure I've the bracket and mount rubbers, but it'll be the yank one without the indicator stems if any good?

Hi Warren, are the indicators the same on both UK or USA models? The rear indicators that were fitted on my one were mounted on the frame and were short stumpy numbers...much shorter than the front ones.

Hi There,
If you want the rear indicators to mount onto frame direct - you need a USA style rear stop lamp & licence plate holder.
A UK rear stop lamp will have extra stalks sticking out for the rear indicator heads to go on.
The two styles don't mix.
This is the USA set up -

Plenty of USA ones avail - check on partzilla and you will find several other (less desirable) models used the same bracket.

Matt, I'll dig out tomorrow and post a pic. Marks correct. Us bikes had them mounted on the frame, uk bikes had them mounted on the tail light bracket.
Probably got stems aswell if you need them. Will need a rechrome for sure though.

Matt I'd say keep ur indicators as they are N maybe swap the short rears with the longer fronts as it's a better look than the UK rear indicators on stalks..naff imho.

This is what the POS looked like pre stripping down. No rear fender or tail light bracket. Tail light and number plate bodged onto the frame mountings with some crap welding. Note the short indicators.

Matt hunted high and low and can't find it. Must have given it to someone else, Sorry. Did find a US rear mudguard and a couple of front indicator stems though if you need em. The mudguard has been painted black so guess the chrome isn't all that but its dent free and solid.

Thanks Warren, I have just bought a (supposedly NOS) rear mudguard from flea-bay. I may take you up on the stems....get back to you on them later.
