Hi,
I need a replacement head for a KZ1000A1, mine has a big crack in it. I'd consider anything, happy to get things fixed / cleaned if needed, just want to get on with my project. I'm also not expecting a bargain, happy to pay a proper price for condition. Hoping one (or several) of you great blokes has something secreted round the back....
Ever hopeful.... Russ

Are you sure the crack can't be welded?
is it between the ports?
is it between the ports?

Hi Gary,
It's between the plug hole and the port. It tracks quite a way up the plug thread, about 2/3rds up in fact. It could be welded but they reakon it's uneconomical. I was going to replace the valve guides and seats but to fix the crack as well they advised I'd be best looking for another head first.
