good afternoon
I know I am new to posting around here and feels a little bit odd jumping in with a request on my second post

if you saw my intro, I have been a Zowner for may years and now am looking after a fair few wanted to be ridden Z's
as I now found my self with time on my hands to get things sorted I need help with some bits for the Z1R

in no order

ZIR main Stand
under seat Bits the bolt to the seat pan for the lock catch and hooks

Front mudguard (now go one off ebay from Kawasaki heven)
Tail unit (one came up to day on Ebay £55 so I bought it)
Seat Foam and any advice which cover are the best please (http://www.saisei-europe.com loads of money new)
seat brackets all of then as I have a naked seat pan only
Have a front brake lever and mount but not the other bits ( got the remote master cylinder of Ebay £49 quid well chuffed)
t pipe for the air box
tool tray

long shot if any one knows of a bent frame i need the seat mounting points and lock mount that are welded to the frame would not want to harm a good frame

Z1R discs (bought the wheel and disc's from kawasaki heven) now have a spair 18" wheel if it will help any one let me know

Any help with locating parts will be a big help to get a Z1R back in the its right Clothes

Just had a seat, foam and trims done by the guy below and was an excellent job......

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kawasaki-KH2 ... 1931420832?

Plenty of Shed owners on here with sheds full of Shed bits, but given the shed stuff you need is on the rarer side then you're biggest problem is getting these shedheads to look in their sheds and then actually part with these shed bits that you need for your... err... shed.

Hi hartyb

welcome to the Z1R owners club!
Getting a Z1R complete and back on the road is a tough and difficult job. I did one myself and found out that you have to search the web on daily bases.
I found some original bits and pieces on Ebay but there are other sources!
A lot of parts can be bought at Z-power.
Some more sites where you can find them;
Z-Fever (Germany)
Ebay kleinanzeigen (Germany)
Le bon coin (France)
Newandoldstock (France)

Most of the part owners in Germany understand English so don't be afraid to send an email to them.
On the other hand in France... most of them only speak French and you're lucky to get an answer at all...
On the Z1Owners forum I've seen some ads where people offer Z1R parts.
Go for it and good luck!
Greetings from Belgium.
Philippe

Greetings Geoff, Trust all is good with you.

Sadly still no Shed in my Shed, and given current prices I can't see that changing any time soon.... unless of course you wish to donate one to my little home for retired Plumbers.

I see that nice Mr Orritt has one currently listed on that well known auction site which I'll be watching, but suspect it'll soon be north of my meagre budget.

I'm good Garry thank you and hope your early retirement suits you .
My Z1R is fine where it is , no danger at all of the paintwork getting weathered , it never sees daylight outside my garage
Spend some of your money mate .
You'll sleep so much better at night with a smaller lump under your mattress .
