HI NEW TO THE CLUB IM A PRIVATE BUYER OF A CERTAIN AGE THAT DROWLED OVER Z1S FIRST TIME ROUND LOOKING TO PURCHASE A Z1 AND QUICKLY REALISED IT AINT THAT EASY UNLESS YOU LIKE GETTING STUNG ,GUESS WHAT IM LIKE YOU I DONT, LOOKING FOR SOMETHING BETWEEN 73 TO 76 ,HERE STARTS MY EDUCATION NOT EVEN SURE OF MODELS DURING THEM YEARS DONT WANT SOMETHING FOR NOWT BUT DONT WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF OWT CONSIDED MY MERCHANICAL KNOWLEDGE SOUND ,PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE ZERO ANY INFORMATION OR LEADS OR POSSIBLE BIKES OR POINTERS TO EDUCATE ME ON YEARS AND MODELS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED WHILST I TROIL THE FORUM TRYING TO EDUCATE MYSELF IN ANTICIPATION ANDY

Hi Andy,Welcome to the Forum,Shark infested waters out there alright,you have started looking now Zeds are becoming ever dearer.Would suggest you get hold off Dave Masrdens book as a start,availabeon Z power site.decide on model you are interested in and go from there,bikes do become available on here from time to time and we are a pretty straight lot.There is a wealth of knowledge on here so dont be slow in coming forward..Cheers Paul J

Welcome to the club from me too - I'm a relatively new member and when I was looking for a Z900 Dave Orritt's was a really useful book (eBay about £10) - and as Paul says above, Dave Marsden's book is also worth buying and will give you the detailed spec.
