Whats your budget? I know of a J thats languishing in a shed but dont know what it would take to get it released.

As above re the Budget, given even a basket case H2 for eg will cost well north of £5K.

Hi, thanks for you interest. About 4K is the budget.

Plenty of relatively good 650's on ebay for a lot less than that. Still a under valued bike (I may be a little biased) and 2 to 2.5k would get a decent roadworthy one.
H1's H2's seem to be much more sought after and that is reflected in the prices. All 4k will buy you is one that will need another 3 or 4k put into it to make it the condition I would want.

Hi Warren, I am not good at this advertising business. The budget for the basket case is 4K for h1/h2, not including the restoration. I would only expect to pay 1k for a z650 non runner. I am looking for a project not a runner.

I'd be surprised if £4k would get you even a basket case H2, but a H1/KH500 would be do-able if you don't mind some work.

I would go for a Z650 project. Lots of them out there, piles of parts available at a good price on the web.
A two stroke triple 500 or 750 demands a higher budget, not only for the purchase, allso for the missing parts!
