Z1 fuel tank
Hi folks, I'm after a z1 petrol tank. Condition isn't too important, as long as it holds fuel.
Thank you
Scott
Thank you

Re: Z1 fuel tank
Hi Hartyb, it's for a 1973 frame. The year doesn't matter too much, as long as it's the tank with the seams tucked further underneath. If it's the early style side panels I'd be interested in them too.
If you want, you can contact me on 07736431590 to send photos and discuss prices.
Thank you

Re: Z1 fuel tank
Hi Scott
if the tank should be for a 73 Z1 it's a bit different from the Z1A or Z1B tank.
The "kawasaki" badges of a 73 Z1 have small badges ( holes 120 mm ), the later ones have bigger badges (holes 142 mm).
Just to let you know.
Greetings
Philippe

Hi mark, that's fine by me. I should be able to get repro panels through the club. Scott

Re: Z1 fuel tank
thanks to Philppe's vast Knowledge
the Tank I have has 142mm badge screws holes making it big Badge model, still under tank seams
looking at the tail unit it does appear to be the same as a Z1000a1 but not been a 900 exspert i dont know
side pannels are made in the USA with a part number of 36001-054-1 left the right is also made in the USA but with no part number and has had new Badge holes drilled wider apart so could well be off a earlyer bike the bottom lug is lower and bigger
pic would help a lot I know
