Z1000 A1 Paintwork

#1 PostAuthor: Ratty » Sat Mar 10, 2018 4:56 pm

I am after recommendations as to where to get my Z1000 paintwork done.
I would like it done in Diamond Sky Blue, need someone who knows this colour and can replicate it.
Preferably someone within a couple of hundred miles of Southend Essex.
Alternatively can anyone supply the codes necessary for a local painter to get the correct colour mixed?

Thanks..

Shame you live so far away, Richie at fx paintwork has it to a tee, just look at Garry's z1000a

Terracotta base coat sort of sums up how weird this colour is

Contact details for Richie? I travel to Yorkshire at least once a month so could travel further if necessary.

I asked Richie to do me a different colour on my z1000a1, I went for super candy blue, just to be different.

Picked my A4 paintset from Hutchy yesterday - he's got has a stack of original factory painted tanks and panels he uses to match colours:

That does look lovely, did you see anything else he had painted before you went with him for your paintwork?
