Z1000J/GPz1100 or similar damaged/cheap cam cover
Evening all,
I'm after one of the above so that I can butcher it to keep the centre section with the guide for setting my cam timing. I haven't really got the time at the moment to make a guide from scratch, so if I can find a cover that I can happily chop up it might be a simpler answer.
Cheers all,
Coose

You quite often see covers that are cracked, and let's be honest nobody really wants a US cover (though that's what mine has now)....
If you can help that'd be great.

Cheers, but I don't think it will have the guide in the top of the cover which is what I need. Also, I assume you're in Oz so you're right - postage would be mental!
Re: Z1000J/GPz1100 or similar damaged/cheap cam cover
I'm still on the lookout for a cover as my head isn't back from the bead blasters yet, but I'll consider a good UK cover so that I can chop up my US cover if anyone has one?

Piggy had one from me a few years back, and chopped it up, to do exactly what you plan to do.
Might be worth a PM now he's 'slimming things down' a little.
