You're probably already aware of this but often the ones advertised for 1000j are not the same as the original ones that came on UK bikes. The US versions (which I'm currently stuck with) only have one spring, and seem to be a bit shorter, making the bike lean over a lot when on the side stand.

Rick Thanks for that I was not aware but dont mind either really as long as it fits the bracket.

Don't bust a gut though I think I may go down a modified zx6r route so I can bolt it on and off.
But if you have one that could be my backup.

Rick, I'll let you know as I have not tried the modified route yet as its not arrived yet. It may be a no go but I' will post and let you know.

Anyway knowing how much stuff Paul has stashed away it could take him a month of sundays to find it eh Paul!

Paul, Rick, my zx6r stand arrived today and after a bit of fab work looks like it will be ok.
So if you want to sort out the stand between you I am fine with that.
