Z1000A1/2 Swing Arm

Wanted; an original swing arm to suit my Z1000A1 model.

It turns out that the one I've just restored is for an LTD model and the brackets are all wrong for the A1/2 chain guard; so if anyone wants a perfect LTD swing arm, let me know.

Thanks,
Rob

Thanks mark, yes I had thought about that but was concerned about getting them in the right place. I suppose if I install the engine, swing arm, wheel and chain, it should be fairly obvious where the brackets need to be positioned. I'll give it a go. Cheers,

Rob

just to clarify I have two freshly powdercoated units one had a single needle roller bearing in each side the other had two in each side, one came off a Z1R the other off of a Z1000 A1 they are identical in every other facet but as you seem to have found an aqlternative solution I will wrap them back up. :)

Sorry Keith, I wrongly assumed you were enquiring about my existing LTD swing arm.

I'd be interested in one of your swing arms as it will save me having to mess about with the grinder, welder and paint. I think the A1 model used the two needle roller bearings so that one would be ideal.

I see you are in Bury which is handy as I'm not far away in Stockport. I'll PM you tomorrow.

Thanks,

Rob
