Have you considered making one up from a z1000g? It's an Ltd with the MK2 motor and fuel injection.
Wouldn't be authentic, but it'd maybe be an easier/cheaper way?
It's something I have thought about.

Hi guys

changing one model to another is easily said but not so easily done.
If the frame is the same, if it has the same dimensions and angles you could give it a try.
Finding all the correct pieces for an MK2 or an H will be very difficult. Some parts are really made of "unobtanium" or have a very high price.
In my opinion it's easier and "cheaper" to buy a MK2 or H and restore them .
After all, when changing one type to another the frame and engine number will allways denote it as a different type...
That's only my personal opinion...

Backs of the frame are different between a G and a MKII/H.

Phillipe and Gus,
thanks for the advice. Sounds like it's not worth it then...
