I have asked Zpower if they had one and they said they do not do them. The type on my ST has a built in steering lock on it and has six wires in a block connector, as well as a separate brown wire. The key keeps falling out!

Hi Dunlop4
all the Z1000ST bikes have a build in steering lock. If you're a handy man you can open the lock and repair it.
Mostly the lock fails if there's too much dirt in it. Inside there are a few (5 or 6) litlle, more or less rectangular parts which have a rectangular opening in the middle. These parts are kept under tension by a tiny spring. When dirt and dust accumulates inside this mechanism the springs fail to push the rectangular parts in place. If you're lucky and the parts inside aren't bend or too much worn out, you can get the dirt out by using a lock cleaning spray or brake cleaner.
Give it a try, it's worth it!
Good luck
Philippe
