Pistons / Barells

hi .. the barrels I used on my Z1b were a bit marginal when i built the bike so its time to replace them
I am using 29mm CR carbs so would like to use a big bore of some sort
Does anyone have any 1015 barrels I could fit a 1075 kit or maybe a complete kit for sale ?
Maybe 903 barrels I could bore to 998 ?

You can easily go to 1015 cc (70mm) on the 900 liners.
Even sneak them out to 1045cc (71mm) but the liners end up about as thin as taking the 1015 block to 1105.

The barrels i have are 903 taken out to 70mm .... IMD have a 1040 piston kit but as you say it leaves the liners a bit thin and they are standard compression .....on the plus side they are on offer at £180 a set which is very tempting
But with the 29s I do fancy upping the comp ratio a bit just for the fun of it

Chris, I've got a selection of 900 and 1000 barrels. Most over bored, I can take a look at what I have if you want?
