You could always buy a new one for £175 and if it needs adjusting then get the manufacturer to do it

Those "Bob The Seat" ones are nice but to my eyes are not quite right being all foam and not having the metal in the back .
They look a little too rounded and not as sharp and tight as the original especially the profile where the actual seat meets the hump.

I agree. I have a 'Bob the seat' one on my Z1000 currently and, while it looks ok, if a genuine one comes up for sale I would swap it out.
