Looking to swap my AP's for a set like these shown or the old Kipkawa calipers. Also need the proper braided lines.
My bike is an 82 KZ1000R-S1 clone. (In this months Classic Motorbike Mechanics)
Please send pics and price on any calipers or old S1 race stuff for sale.
Also looking for the Rev counter, gas tank Works Performance shocks and fairing. I can pay you how you like and will cover the shipping. Thanks guys.

I believe that Green Garage in Japan are having replica calipers made. They're not cheap, but unless you can find a set of old Kipkawa ones they may be your only hope?

I'm looking forward to seeing your bike though.

rumour has it that Larry Web of PDQ performance has a loft full of genuine S1 bits but they wont be cheap.
Might be worth a call.

Thanks guys,
I actually already knew about Green garage. They want 1300 British pounds for one caliper with no pads.
I want them but not even close to that bad.
He won't ship out of Japan either last I heard.

Wish I knew who was making them, I'd just buy from there.

Yes, and it's a shame that Kipkawa closed their doors entirely as you may have been able to find out who their supplier was....

Yes, very true on Kipkawa.
But on the other hand SOMEONE is making calipers for the Green Garage shop in Japan.
Now that would be nice if I can find out that.

Last time i was in there discussing and buying brake parts, Larry disappeared off and came back a minute later to offer me a pair of those rectangular block front calipers.
I declined to buy them from him.
