Maybe more than you want to pay, but I would be weighing up how much time and money you will spend making a different seat fit that bike, or making that bike fit a different seat.
I've had my seat recovered by this guy. Top notch

Hi Swirl
sorry it took me a few days to see your post.
On your H I think that a Z1000MK2 seat would fit, the parts numbers are different but the layout of the fork tubes seems to be the same hence the position of the damper rubbers. The H seat has a different cover and a little plastic box on the underside of the seat pan to put the owners manual in.
I presume that any seat fitting a MK2 would fit an H.
Unfortunately I still don't have an H. I can buy a rolling H chassis but there are too much specific parts missing (parts of the engine and injection system) and those are made of unobtanium!
Good luck with the restoration.

the differences between a little boy and an adult man is the price and size of their toys!

I'll take pic of underneath, I presume the H tank would have a return for the fuel injection

Mk2 seat seems to be the way to go
Re: What seats fit this Z1000h
@Rpeters
the fuel tank on the pictures is certainly not an ST tank, seems more like a J or 750E tank to me...but definitely not an ST tank!

Are you looking at different pictures?
The tank on the bike that Swirl posted that he has bought is an H tank (or Mk2)
The later pics he posted of the seat and tank on a frame are definitely of a Z750E or L frame, therefore tank and seat from that bike too.
Cheers,
Mark.

@needaz1100r
yes I refer to the later pictures he posted, not to the first pictures of the H.
I thought it was obvious that my reply was ment on the picture of the frame with a fuel tank and a seat...
I have no Z750E so I'm not familiar with the shape of the Z750 frame.
