It is an A1 it’s a reasonably late bike - frame number is very close to mine which was also a UK bike first registered in 1978 - around 2000 from the end.
Odd it says in the ad they’re not matching engine and frame numbers I’d be pretty sure those are right for the bike.
Records suggest last A1 was 26623 and engine range went to 41170. 2428** and 3788* seems reasonable if it’s not the original engine it’s from one built the same week. Frame does look rough at the bottom... I’d don’t see why Daz is pissed off about the comment it’s stating the blindingly obvious...
