More than likely, but it's the closest you'll get.

When it arrives I will compare it side by side to the 900 one.
Cheers,

Mark.

True, hard to tell once fitted. And finding a 900 box is nigh on impossible.

You may have to change the support bracket to a z1000 one. Can't remember.

I tend to agree, but here is where it's difficult...I have a stock of stuff, I would like to sell it at reasonable prices, but, if I ever need something in the future, I then have to go out and pay what others are asking, so I either hang on to it, driving supply of an in demand product down, or ask what others are asking.

I'm not the only one in that boat I'm sure.
Cheers,

Mark.

You would have thought that these air boxes could be 3-D printed by now or is it down to cost?

Agreed: I sold a complete airbox to a member on here for £300 last year. I then found I needed one and had to pay £400 for one.

There are limits to what you can 3D print and often the finished article isn't robust enough.

I've looked into getting some designed an made - it simply isn't worth the very significant up front cost unless you know you can sell thousands. And they'd work out as much money as you'd pay for a used one...

I'd think your boat will have long since sunk with the amount if people like us in

As a topical example I wonder how many sets of Z1000 A1/2 standard exhausts are out there in the back of peoples garages but their owners are reluctant to sell in case they need them for a future project.

Ross Hensgen has almost got a replica Z900 air box sorted and that’ll be a perfect replica judging by the snorkel he makes.
Will probably be a reasonable price too!
