Well I've got a pair of 650 ones. Not sure the offside one has the extra hole on the 650 one though. I'll have to dig em out and post a pic.

used one 40 too 3 holes to each

Sorry for the confusion early on, iv always believed hangers to be part of the frame and bracket being the "part" in between, but just to clarify what is being looked for is this below and its right hand equivalent?

OK, they are not the same as 650 ones. Neither 650 bracket has a dogleg in it. If they were the same you could have had mine. I can't see me doing any more back to standard 650 restorations in the future.

They are real rare these days, took me an age just to find a photo of one. Iv a set stashed somewhere.. but where is the problem but 100% have a set of 1979 z1000 A1 brackets.

Found them, the last place i looked but should have been the first. So one of the hens teeth of Z1000 A1/A2 restoration, both the "weld-on" brackets un-rotten and the left and right exhaust brackets.
