Thats a nice looking Rickman Gary, is that how you bought it or have you done the engine etc ? what chain and sprockets have you used ? like you I am rebuilding a Z1000 version and need to replace sprockets and chain , try Burton bike bits for a chainguard, its a close copy, you may have to alter it a little to fit .
I see yours has the extra frame strengthening tubes fitted as well , thats going to be a stunner when finished .

If you want to go over to 530, B&C Express should be able to supply you with a 530 rear sprocket for the Ronal wheel as I gave it to them!
As for the front sprocket the Renthal 289-530-18 fits the Z1/900/1000 motors. https://www.renthal.com/road/chainwheel ... fcw?page=3
Gearing wise for a nat asp CR, I'd go with 40th rear and 18th front.

Thankyou for your advice.
Re: Rickman Kawasaki 900 Fairing brackets dilemma
Hi,
I seem to be having trouble trying to establish how the front fairing fastens to the frame etc and have taken pictures of the brackets that i have currently.
I am to fit the dual seat with the shorter tank cover and also wondered how this fits onto the frame. I unfortunately cannot find anything to guide me so any help is greatly appreciated.
If there is anything i require further re fitment (which i do not have) then i am willing to purchase these items if anybody has them!!
Thank-you as always
Gary.

Re: Rickman Kawasaki 900
Only the large bracket you show on the left is of any use for the correct fitment of the CR fairing, the rest are of no use at all for the CR.
The large bracket bolts to the headstock with 6 fixings as shown on my old S+S Rickman turbo. Two bolts then secure the top of the fairing to the fairing bracket.
You are also missing the LH and RH lower fairing brackets, again unique to the CR. These are exceedingly hard to get hold of, they bolt onto the upper rear engine mount as shown here.
Part numbers for the lower fairing brackets are R10982503 for the LH bracket and R10982504 for the RH bracket. This guy in the states may have the lower brackets. https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/Cyclesavant? ... 7675.l2563

Re: Rickman Kawasaki 900
Hi to you all again.
Just an update on things really.
I'm now in a position of just finalising the minor points before the bike will be finished. Impending divorce and her solicitor has basically stopped play for some time. However I still require a chain guard and I've lost the link in order to order a repro. Can anyone help please?
Regards Gary
