Re: Standard carbs. Wanted
As promised info and pics, 26mm off a Z1000 A2, so have the vacuum stub, with a bung on as mine does not have vac tap, they are the ones that came with my bike and were gummed up and had a bad repair to number one carb, what must of happened is one of the sealing balls on number one must of come out and came to me with a badly fitted grub screw and epoxy which was leaking, i removed this and cut a 5mm thread and have put a stainless countersunk screw in there sealed with ptfe tape, been fine since, they have 107.5 mains, 20 pilots, 5cn7-3 needles, pilot screws 1 and 1/4 turns out, i made brass drain screws for them, stainless allen screws on bowls and tops float levels were set wet using correct tool, then synchronized on the bench and then on the bike, i now have a set of pumpers on my bike, as these may be going on a 1075 i can change the mains for a larger size, i have 112.5, 117.5 or 122.5 if desired. they have worked fine all the time on the bike, i changed them just before lock down, i have drained them, removed the bowls and hung them up for a couple of weeks so they did not varnish up, these will be plug and play with either minor jetting changes and vac balancing. £250. posted
